Use Postward from ZCode
Connect ZCode to Postward, install Docker, and expose local Creative editing tools.
What You Will Finish With
ZCode can use codebase context, local media tools, and the remote Postward campaign workflow together.
- 1
Add the remote MCP
Configure one Streamable HTTP server named postward.
Server name: postward Transport: Streamable HTTP URL: https://postward.cc/mcp Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE Static API key: none - 2
Authorize and verify
Ask the agent: Check my Postward activation status and tell me the next incomplete step. A successful get_activation_status call proves transport, OAuth, and workspace access.
- 3
Prepare Docker
Install Docker for your operating system, start it, then confirm the Creative image can be pulled.
docker version docker pull ghcr.io/postward-cc/creative-mcp:latest - 4
Add the local Creative server
Use ZCode's local stdio MCP configuration and preserve the named output volume.
docker run -i --rm -v postward-creative-output:/tmp/postward-creative ghcr.io/postward-cc/creative-mcp:latest - 5
Try a safe local edit
Provide a local video and ask ZCode to inspect available tools before trimming or transcoding it. Upload to Postward only when you want the result in a campaign.
