Troubleshooting MCP onboarding

Diagnose installation, OAuth, workspace access and content submission.

    Server is missing

    Re-run the client-specific install step and inspect the client's MCP server list.

    Authentication is required

    Start the client's OAuth action and complete workspace consent in the same browser session.

    OAuth works but Studio says unverified

    Call get_activation_status. Studio only marks verification after a real tool call; issuing or refreshing a token does not count.

    Campaign exists but no content appears

    Ask the agent to call submit_run with the exact sourceRevisionId returned by create_campaign.

    A tool returned an error

    Read its code, retryable flag and recovery field. Follow recovery before retrying; RECONCILIATION_REQUIRED must never be blind-retried.

    Media upload fails

    Check Workspace → Storage for a writable default. Grace and unavailable storages cannot receive writes.
